Handcrafted TeeDee .049 WITH REAR FUEL TANK!
What's a TeeDee doing on the "Cox Engines With Tanks" page? Well, check it out: It's got a tank! This one-off treasure began life as one of the handful of original 22,000+ rpm TeeDee 049's to come from the factory with the #4 taper-bore, thick cylinder top section and four factory-cut boost ports! (This run of TeeDee's is the one used for TeeDee performance figures, and probably was never actually matched again during the long production life of the TeeDee.) Being still in NOS condition, we decided to make it a little more special yet by fabricating a brass fuel tank. The tank mounts to the drilled and threaded back-plate OK cub style. It feeds the carb through a Dale Kirn Kustom Kraftsmanship fine-thread needle. A Stoneway "Crown Jewel" red needle top and NOS Black Widow red spinner finish it off in grand fifties style! As it says on the Stoneway box... "We're Proving COX Still ROX!" |

All Green Golden Bee With R/C Cylinder
This is a really custom-tailored engine, built to order for a collector in Sweden. The "SWEDISH BEE" is a Golden Bee which has been color-anodized all green, except for the black prop driver. We also furnished a complete throttled extra cylinder for R/C use. This engine will be used for both freeflight and R/C by using different cylinder head assemblies! |

Normandy Mouse Racer
The NORMANDY was built to satisfy many requests for a true high-performance Venom-style mouse racer. Internally it is a full-house, using every trick in the book! Externally, we commemorated the anniversary of "D-Day" with the invasion stripes motif. This motor is a showcase of custom anodizing, with turned sections colored, and color selectively removed for a striking appearance. |
